Phimai Guide

Phimai, a small town in the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima (Khorat), was in ancient times a Khmer city named Vimayapura. The Phimai Historical Park protects one of the most important Khmer temples in Thailand, a temple marking one end of the Ancient Khmer Highway from Angkor.

Local buses run from Terminal 2 in the provincial capital to Phimai roughly every 20 minutes and take about one hour.
