Nakhon Pathom Guide

Nakhon Pathom is a province about one hour to the west of Bangkok. The main attraction is the magnificent Phra Pathom Chedi in the provincial capital, which is best seen as a day-trip from Bangkok. Minivans leave from Bangkok's Victory Monument and stop outside the north entrance to the chedi complex. Vans return to Bangkok from the street over the canal due north of the chedi.
