Wat Sao Thong Thong is on the north side of Koh Kret.
Around the temple's ordination hall (ubosot) is a cluster of chedis built over 100 years ago. To the extreme right, the Phra Thutangkha Chedi, the largest in Pak Kret district, is circular on a square base with 12 indented corners, built in the Ayutthaya period. It is surrounded by 12 smaller chedis. In front of the ubosot are two chedis, the left one shaped like a star fruit, the right one circular.
A little to the left of the ubosot is a tall takian tree, with a shrine to the tree spirit Nang Takian, and a shrine to twin statues of Kuman Thong.
The temple is a short walk from the ferry pier, past Wat Phai Lom.
