Wat Ratchapradit, Bangkok

History

Built in the reign of King Rama IV, Wat Ratchapradit is one of three temples required by ancient tradition to be situated within the capital.

What to see

The chedi is faced with grey and cream marble tiles, giving it an unusual mosaic appearance.

Getting there

The temple can be reached by buses that run to nearby Wat Pho. There is no entrance fee but donations are appreciated.
