Wat Ratchaburana (or Ratburana) was built during the Sukhothai period and renovated during the reign of King Lithai.
The temple's ordination hall houses murals based on the Ramayana story dating from the reign of King Rama IV.
Located on Putthabucha Road, near Naresuan bridge, the temple is a 20-minute walk or 30-baht samlor ride from the clock tower in the center of town.
