Wat Phan Tao, Chiang Mai

History

Wat Phan Tao (Monastery of a Thousand Kilns) was converted from a hor kham - a royal residence - used by the ruler of Chiang Mai from 1846 to 1854.

What to see

The temple has one of the few all-wood monastery halls in the city.
