Wat Sao Tong Thong, Lopburi

History

Wat Sao Tong Thong is located on a site once used for the residences of ambassadors from Persia and other countries. The assembly hall is believed to have originally been a Christian church.

What to see

The assembly hall (viharn) contains a large seated Buddha image and features church-like windows and alcoves.

Getting there

The temple is on Phra Ram Road and can be reached on foot from the center of town.
