Wat Sanam Nua, Nonthaburi

History

Wat Sanam Nua is located in Pak Kret, on the east bank of the Chao Phraya River, opposite Koh Kret island.

What to see

The temple is mainly known for its pier, and the shuttle boat that takes visitors across the river to Koh Kret.

Getting there

Pak Kret can be reached from Bangkok's Victory Monument by minivan (25 baht) or No. 166 aircon bus (18 baht) The temple and pier are a 500-meter walk from the "U-turn" under the bridge that marks the end of the bus route.
