Wat Ratchanadda is a royal temple not far from Phan Fa bridge in Bangkok.
In 1846, King Nangklao, the third monarch of the Chakri Dynasty, decreed that Wat Ratchanaddaram Worawihan be built in honour of his favorite grand-daughter, Princess Somanas Wathanawadee.
The temple is best known for its Loha Prasat, or "Metal Palace," with its multiple spires and Buddha relic on the top floor. There is also an amulet market in the temple grounds.
Located at the intersection of Ratchadamnoen Klang and Maha Chai Road, not far from the Democracy Monument, the temple can be reached by the aircon 511 bus or on foot from Khao San Road.
