This is the town's principal wat.
The Burmese style viharn was restored in 1993, but retains a fine multi-tiered roof and also contains the large seated bronze Buddha image known as Phra Chao Phala Lakhaeng, which was cast in Mandalay in the 1930s.
The temple is located on the south side of Phanit Wattana Road east of the intersection with Khunlum Praphat Road.
