History
Wat Saket is an important royal temple in central Bangkok that features an enormous stupa known as the Golden Mount.
The stupa enshrines relics of the Buddha, donated to Thailand by the Indian government in the 19th century.
The Golden Mount is depicted on the back of the two baht coin.
What to see
Climb to the top of the stupa and admire the view.

The temple can be reached on foot from the Ratchadamnoen Road area.
